A pretty summer flowering bulb from South Africa - good for a sheltered rock garden with 2 inches of grit or grow in a pot. Plants in pots will require a dry and frost free winter whilst bulbs in the rock garden will survive temperatures down to around minus 3 degrees C. Grows around 12" (30cm high) in flower & soom clumps up.
